Most people say "Happy Chinese New Year" but they fail to realize that there are many other countries that celebrate New Year on the Lunar Calendar....like Korea. This year, I got together with a family that I am VERY close to and we made mandu (dumplings) for a special soup. It was a neat experience but tedious. The Halmoni (grandma) made tons of filling and so we had to continue wrapping. I think we made about 600 pieces. It was insane....but delicious!

I was driving on the Upper East Side the other night and was stuck in traffic behind a limo. I saw their plate and thought it was great! The Jets frame isn't too hot but I dig the plate.
Again, time is an issue. I have been home 2 weeks and haven't posted a picture from my 3 week trip to Costa Rica. I guess it isn't too big of a surprise since I really haven't blogged since the first of December. Anyway....here are a few shots until I can get some time to organize some of my pictures and get them posted. Enjoy!

New York City is amazing at Christmas time. There is simply no place else like it....it really is magical! The other side of that magic is the INSANE amount of people trying to take part in the festivities and the bone freezing temperatures. My biggest issue this December was time. I had no time to "relax" and enjoy the sights and season before heading off to Costa Rica on the 16th. Believe me...I am not complaining about flying off to Central America...but I must admit that I did miss out on feeling a bit of the NYC Christmas magic. I did manage to drive into the city at about 9 pm the night before my flight and I snapped this picture through the window. It was better than nothing....right?!
