Chistmas Eve 2009

We had such a fun day in Prescott. We headed out to get some "retail therapy" at the mall and other stores around town. We did some visits to various friends houses too...then it was home to get into our p.j.'s and relax as we waited for Santa. Mom relaxing by the fireplace at the mall after a couple long hours of shopping.

Dad and Jose taking a break from their "guy" shopping.Mom with the yummy Christmas Eve food.We played MANY, MANY games (Jenga, Checkers, Connect Four, Mancala, Guess Who, etc). Why the chocolates? My grandfather Munroe always had a box of Whitman's chocolates around the house on Christmas Eve. I decided to keep up the tradition and give my dad a box to share just like he remembers his dad doing when he was a boy.
