I got together with some friends to make gingerbread (graham cracker) houses last Saturday night. It was fun....but it didn't quite turn out how I had expected. I had envisioned a beautiful cottage style house with fluffy white frosting. That didn't happen! I tried to say that mine was a NY apartment building since it looked like a box. It later was named "Cardboard Christmas!"
We did make some yummy roasted chestnuts though.....delicious!

SC got some chesnuts... and has been begging everyone to go outside and roast them. I am too freezing to comply.
