I love you mama!

I am a little late on this post.....but it is better late than never....right? I flew back to NY from El Salvador just in time to give my mom a phone call on Mother's Day. Of course we all think that our mom's are the best in the world.....I surely think mine is the best in the world. Like I said in a post last month.....I feel honored to have been chosen as her daughter. My mom is a blast....she is funny, adventurous, and one tough "farm girl!" She has always been athletic and been a partner with my Dad during their countless hikes into the Grand Canyon, biking up the California Coast, white water rafting, etc.....she is always ready to get her heart pumping. She has raised an amazing family (of course I am talking about my brothers and not me...ha) and she has a cute bunch of grandkids too. Mom is always able to throw together the best meals and can wow a crowd with her decorations and beautiful flower arrangements. She has a VERY green thumb and has the house full of lush plants and flowers.....the garden always has yummy veggies too. She has great style and knows how to coordinate cute outfits and ALWAYS has on a trendy pair of kicks that seem to catch peoples attention. She is classy! She is a spiritual giant and has a true desire to do what is right and lives by President Kimball's words, "Do it!" She has righteous and worthy goals and is a great example to those around her. Most of all.....she is courageous! She has faced various challenges in the last few months and has taken them on with faith and bravery. I am so thankful for her and how much she does for all of us. I love you mom.....Sandi
