Late, late for some V.I.P. dates.....

May has been filled with various celebrations in my family. Here are 3 that I failed to mention....My brother Royce celebrated his 20th (ha, ha) birthday last week. He has always been one of my best friends and I love him very much....he is an amazing brother! Happy B-day!My dad celebrated his birthday this month too! What a stalwart man! He is such a great example to all of his children , grandchildren, and those who have the pleasure of meeting him. Dad is a true outdoors man....I know little people (actually no one) who knows more about camping, hiking, water rafting, hunting, trails, etc. than my dad.....he is an Eagle Scout to the max! He has always been very athletic (racquetball champion) to name one....and even attends his Yoga classes a couple times a week....how cool is that? Dad has always been a very hard worker (still is) and has provided for his family beyond our needs. He has always given us the very best and taught us how to work and dedicate ourselves to worthwhile things. One of the things I love about my dad the most is that he is ALWAYS learning and exploring. He reads avidly and is a wealth of knowledge. He loves to learn about other cultures and people (we share this same interest) and it is fun to hear about that he has studied. Anyway....Happy B-day dad......I love you!Dad with his machete in Costa Rica. He went CRAZY on that pineapple and then decided to pose like a "Cha Cha Cha" dancer with his piƱa hat. Ha!
And finally, Mom and Dad celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary a few days ago! What great parents! I love you both very much and am glad that you are MY mom and dad. Happy Anniversary! Mom and Dad in Hawaii 2007
