We got up early on Sunday morning and got ready for church. We attended the Little Neck branch in Long Island. After church....we had lunch and then went to Gantry State Park in Long Island City. It is one of my favorite parks on the East River.
Aren't these benches awesome!? We all snoozed for about 30 minutes....amazing!
That night....we went out with some of my friends for Korean food. We went to a nice restaurant that specializes in Korean BBQ. It is basically grilled beef and is delicious and you roll it up in lettuce leaves with soy paste, etc. It may sound odd if you haven't eaten it before....but it is "knock your socks off" good.
They really had a nice time and the Ramdass family was more than generous to pick up the bill (Korean food is NOT cheap by any means)....thanks again!
Here is the group after enjoying a yummy meal.
That is the end of their stay in NYC. After dinner....my parents and I went and hung out at their hotel for a couple of hours. I was super tired though and we all needed to get to sleep (them because they were leaving NYC at 5 am the next morning to beat traffic...and me because I had to work). It was sad to say "adios" to my folks but I am excited to see them for Christmas. We had a great weekend together. Thanks for coming!

how awesome that your padres came down to see you. :) I'm sure it's tough to be so far from them. I LOVE the pics of NYC. It makes me want to take a trip out there.
