Tree hotel....

My parents have a hotel at their house that is ALWAYS occupied. Well it isn't really a hotel...it is more like a hollow tree hotel.Here is a picture of the hotel one day while its permanent occupant was away..... Here is a picture of the occupant upon his return. Can you see him? He has one eye open... Meet Mitch the owl! My nephew Mitch was out playing in my parents backyard a few years ago and happened to notice this owl. He is now known as "Mitch the Owl." It is pretty cool to see him out there all of the time. We hear him at night on top of the house too. He is usually there sun, rain, or snow. What a trooper!
