Cherry Blossoms! Wow....It was quite a site!
I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden last Saturday and walked for hours. I truly felt euphoric...what beautiful trees and colors!
There are LOTS of blossoming trees but there are two main "lanes" that people can stroll through. Each lane forms a "blossom" bridge that you can walk under. It is breathtaking!
Every year they have a festival at the gardens. It goes along with the Hanami festival (flower viewing) in Japanese culture. I don't think I'll make it this year....but I can imagine that it would be very neat to see the people dressed in traditional Japanese clothing beneath the blossoms.

over 600 pictures? guess you need to buy a new memory card! lol... so tiptoeing through the tulips with your pink tutu or did you borrow the purple one? :D now that you have sucked in a years worth of pollen, I hope your allergies for the pink suckers gets better soon! :) sniff your beak and shake your booty through the brooklyn tulip patch!
