Pilgrim People....

I decided to make Pilgrim hats with these little cuties on Wednesday. We read a book to learn about Thanksgiving and then we got busy working on our hats. I would have preferred that they left their hat bands white....but they saw that the bands were all different colors in the book and wanted to make their hats more colorful. It was still pretty cute!

This class is pretty wild but this little girl is the gem in all of the craziness. She is adorable and is always on task and ready to learn. Her family is from Afghanistan and they are all very sweet.

The pilgrims were finally on their way home with their fun hats. Don't they look excited to be going on a 4 day weekend? What they didn't know was that the "big" pilgrim was the MOST excited! Yay for 4 day weekends!!
