You might remember the baby shower that I helped give for my friend Sarah last month......if not....you can click HERE to see the post. Anyway....I saw where a friend of mine had made some really neat pom-pom decorations (click HERE if you want to see it) that she had found a tutorial for on the Martha Stewart website. I bought some tissue paper and made them VERY inexpensively and was VERY pleased with how they turned out.
Alice and I were at Michael's the other day and she said......"Look, Martha Stewart has a kit to make those pom-pom's that you made for the baby shower!" I couldn't believe it.....she was selling a kit to make 5 pom pom's for $19.99. Holy Cow! I guess it would be nice to have everything in one little kit but really.....how hard is it to buy tissue paper at the dollar store and then make the pom-poms yourself? Martha knows how to make money....that is for sure! Hmmmmm......I found it amusing!
