I wanted to make pancakes the other morning but had no syrup. What is a pancake with no syrup? Well, I saw some ripe bananas on the counter and so I decided to dice one up into the batter. It was super yummy....thus....Banana Pancakes! 
The ironic thing is that one of my all-time favorite songs is called Banana Pancakes. I was well into my second pancake before I even made the connection....I was eating banana pancakes and I love the song banana pancakes. Hmmmm.....how random! Well..............I'm not quite sure who I love the most, Banana Pancakes OR Jack Johnson (singing)! It's a toss up but I think Jack Boy wins. I have tons of songs on my ipod but, who do I listen to all the time......you guessed it. I would love someday to go to one of his concert's.....in Hawaii...or anywhere will do. Mom

Your mom burned that CD for me, so I can relate. Lovvvvvvvvvvve JJ! I'll tell you what I discovered one morning that really kicks butt. Banana and blueberry pancakes, with syrup. (altho I imagine they'd be good with just butter too.) Yeah, I just happened to have both fruits that morning, so I tried it, and now I'm hooked. Try it soon!
