Keeping busy.....

One of my students and I have had a fun week doing some easy science projects and crafts, etc. Our oobleck(pictured above) didn't turn out too good but our pinwheels were a success! She had fun decorating them and making them spin and spin. I think that the coolest thing we did was making lava lamps out of water, vegetable oil, salt, and food coloring. The salt clumps with the oil and makes big globs rise like the "lava." Pretty cool...too bad I didn't take any pictures!
