Fun birthday....

Today was great! It started out with my parents singing "Happy Birthday" to me as I was snoring away. My dad and I then got up and headed to the beach at about 6:00 am. It was beautiful to watch the sunrise as we enjoyed the low tide. Then it was back home for some breakfast and then off to see the dolphins. Our boat to see the dolphins....Here are some pictures of our friends today......DOLPHINS! I was pumped because we didn't see ANY for about an hour and we were a little worried that the trip was in vain. Then all of a sudden I spotted the first one. After that, we saw BUNCHES for about 2 hours.Dad decided to get out and swim with the dolphins but then he couldn't get back in the boat. We all about died laughing as he was trying to get back in. It finally took 2 guys to do the job...how funny!Yummy Costa Rican pineapple that our guide chopped up for us on our trip.We got in a HUGE rainstorm when we were out in the ocean. It was interesting to see rain falling into the ocean...pretty neat.My YUMMY lunch. I ate this last time I was here and I have eaten it a BUNCH of times when I have gone to El Salvador. Fresh fried fish...yum!My little buddy Melvin and I at my b-day party tonight. His family cooked (well, we did it together) me a big dinner and we had a blast celebrating. Making tortillas...this is very different from the tortillas that I make from El Salvador. Our scrumptious dinner. Salad, tortillas, squash and vegetables, carne asada. Wow!

Happy Happy Birthday to YOU! It looks like you had a perfect day. I'm so glad that Zoey gets to share her birthday with such a great friend of her mama's. :)

Holy cow - that looks amazing! I am so jealous that I can't believe it. Plus, one of my buddies is going to Honduras tomorrow and I'm just stuck in Idaho with a new job that leaves no time for fun. Seriously though, you inspired me and next summer I will make it to Central America. And that food looks amazing by the way. Yup, still jealous.
