We left San Jose and went into the cloud forest to La Fortuna. The drive was beautiful but very hard to see because the fog was so dense. It was extremely green....I would have believed you if you would have told me that I was in Ireland or Scotland. There were miles of rolling green hills full of lush pastures.
Wash clothes much? I snapped this picture as we cruised by this house. I couldn't believe how many clothes were zig-zagging all around their property. I didn't even capture all of the clothes lines in this picture. I bet their arms are very tired!
We passed many streams and rivers that were rushing out of the canyons.
Isn't this beautiful? It reminded me of Havasupai in the Grand Canyon. We stood on a bridge and watched the people swing out on ropes and do dives (headfirst) into the water below. Pretty intense!
