La Paz Waterfall Gardens

This place is amazing! It is kind of like a tropical zoo. Don't the animals eat well? They eat pineapple, mangoes, bananas, papaya, etc. Yum!We walked through a huge tent filled with thousands of butterflies. I could feel them landing on me as we walked through. We stopped to watch a few hatching as well...They have about 50 bird feeders hanging in one spot and hummingbirds race around trying to feed. I never knew that there were so many colors and kinds of hummingbirds. I thought that this frog was funky. He is nocturnal and so he just sits really tight and camouflages himself like a plastic toy until night time.
Frog eggs waiting to roll off of the leaf and land in some water. Then the will become little tadpoles before jumping away as little frogs.Old fashioned oxcart in front of "la casita vieja."One of 5 waterfalls in the park.....
