I Picked A Peck of Pickled Peppers.....

I went to Lewin Farms last September and picked late summer veggies. It was a lot of fun and so I decided to do it again this year. We walked the fields and picked a bag of tomatoes and 2 bags of peppers. There were all colors and kinds of peppers but I mostly picked the long green Italian ones.

We ate baked potatoes and grilled corn at the farmhouse. Then I went home and fired up my own grill. I grilled some corn for a Labor Day BBQ and roasted about 40 peppers. I peeled them, chopped them up, and threw them in the freezer to use throughout the winter. Yum!
Lewin Farm corn is great! It reminds me of the AZ sweet corn that I grew up eating. Delish!
