Spa Castle...Part 1

Spa Castle, formerly known as InSpa, was a wild experience. When I say wild, I mean totally overwhelming and amazing!! It was built in Whitestone, a neighborhood near Flushing, a few years ago. I have heard all about it but never went because I was a bit intimidated by the whole thing and was informed that you had to be nude to attend. Well, I learned Thursday that the nude part is optional...thank goodness! It was designed after the spa houses in Korea. In fact, all of the water jets and saunas were brought over to the U.S. from Japan and Korea. There are different floors with various things to do. The main draw are the water acupuncture and massage pools on the roof. They were amazing. Here are a bunch of pictures to help you get an idea of what it is all about.

There are different kinds of water jets around the pool and you place your hand on a sensor to make the jets start. One of my favorite ones are in the top right corner of the picture. The mini waterfalls fell great on my back and head.

The jets that that look like points across from the jacuzzi were great. They have a ton of water that comes up from the ground. It is kind of like you are sitting on top of water. Felt great!

Here is little Connie sucking down a drink called Chocolate World. The funny thing about Spa Castle is that you don't carry any money to buy things. See that watch looking thing on her arm? Each person wears one and you just swipe it to buy food and then pay your bill at the end of the night. Connie and her friends were ordering up a storm.

I got in on the fun too. I teach both of this little girls (Connie and Sally).

This was my ultimate favorite thing there. I had Connie model it for me. The waterfall....amazing!

The back jets on the right (where Connie is) were SOOOOO hard! They killed my back and I couldn't do it. Either I was a wimp or those other people that were doing it have backs of steel.

This kind of shows you how one of the jet pools was. It is calm and then you touch the sensor for the water to start up. There a tons of different jets that work on different parts of your body.

You stand in this one and it works your stomach....

I loved this one. The water was great on my neck!I thought we would be going home soon. I was wrong! I was there for 11 hours. Wow!

You lay down in this one and the jets go on your back and legs....
