I am so bummed today...Tim Russert died unexpectedly at age 58. I have watched him on MSNBC for years and even got to see him in person at the third and Presidential Debate between George Bush and John Kerry during the last presidential election. The debate was held at A.S.U. and I had FBI clearance to work with the Secret Service in the Press tents and at the security gates. Very cool experience! Anyway....I am going to miss seeing him on the news and on his show Meet The Press.....he will be missed.

Life is so unpredictable. Rick was also a big fan of Tim Russert's. He'll be missed.
I received "Big Russ and Me" as a gift from mom a couple of years ago. At the time I wasn’t too familiar with Tim Russert, but found the book to be really inspiring. Ever since then I’ve enjoyed watching his coverage of the political stage. There was just something about his voice and the way he engaged people that made you feel really good. Like you could trust they guy with your wallet. I’m rarely sad about the passing of any public personality. But Tim’s passing really affected me. I know I wasn’t alone. We lost a great one last Friday. -Brian
