Lindsay's and Lobsters....

Doesn't this look amazing? What is the occasion? Ummm...Nothing! Just a random Saturday evening dinner with friends and SCRUMPTIOUS, finger lickin' good LOBSTER!I headed over to Brooklyn to hang out with Sarah, Nate, and little "M." Sarah's folks (my other set of folks) were in town from Arizona. We had a wonderful afternoon chatting, sharing old stories, and of course LAUGHING! Chris showed me the "ropes" on how to cook fresh LOBSTER. Here are a few of my notes. First....put the lobster (still alive) in the pot of boiling water and then RUN out of the kitchen as you wince a bit because you feel bad that you are killing a delicious little creature at a rapid rate. Enjoy that aroma (kind of enjoyable...very "seafoodish"....imagine that!) and then take it out of the pot as you admire it's color change. Then start crackin' away as you expose the delish flesh that you will be devouring with melted butter in only a few short moments. Stop to take a couple of pictures (Sandi Style) and then continue crackin' the shells....The meal was great! Can you believe that the only picture that I got of Sarah that night was this one of her posing in front of the elevator. It was all her idea...of course! Ha! Just kidding...I put her up to it...just like when we were little and I would try and make her do all kinds of "wild" things. Ha!Last but not least....me and my "other folks" Stuart and Chris. Thanks for letting me hang out with you on your short trip. It is always so fun to see you!

love it! What fun memories you are making up there in NYC. We want to come out there and visit sometime. Would you show us the sites?

Yum! I am so jealous because I love lobster and I have never bought and cooked it before. Thanks to the Lindsay's and Sarah, now you can cook me up some in the future. Right? Oh yeah, LOVE that pose mama!

SO FUN! I can't believe you put the elevator pose up! I seriously think you should post a pic of Max & we won't tell Nathan. ;-)
