Mother's Day 2010

Isn't my mom adorable!? This was taken at my parents 40th wedding anniversary party in 2006. She is so dang cute! I am so thankful for her and our friendship. She is so much fun to talk to (we talk MULTIPLE TIMES daily) and we end up laughing much of the time. She is a woman of faith and a great example to me. I am going to miss my mom tremendously when she lives on her mission in less than a month. The distance between AZ and NYC doesn't allow us to see each other too much....but Costa Rica will seem SUPER far and I know that we wont be able to speak near as often as we normally do. With that said, I love you mom and I hope you have a WONDERFUL Mother's Day! I wanted to do some thing special and different for my mom this year. I am found a gal from Utah on Etsy and I really liked her work. I was drawn to this necklace that she calls Mother Bird. It is a sterling nest with 4 little eggs (my brothers and I...YES, I am the pearl...ha!) and the mother bird next to her "little ones."

I gave this to my mom when I went home for Easter and she loved it. I hope that she enjoys it as she is away from her "little ones" on her mission.
