My day....sigh....hmmmmmm

Worst part of the day: Teaching an 8th grade literacy class.....you would cringe if you only knew how horrible it was. Just picture the movies Freedom Writers or Stand and Deliver. Haven't seen any of those?? Just try and think of all of the stereotypical urban ghetto things that you hear about the "rough" teenagers in big cities and be convinced that I had ALL of them in my classes today. UGH!
Best part of the day: Washing my face after working, going to the doctor, and cleaning up the kitchen....then relaxing on my balcony and listening to a little Korean girl next door SCREAMING/Singing "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" at the top of her lungs out the window for all of the neighbors to hear. I couldn't resist...I chanted back and she giggled......then I giggled....it was the whipped cream and cherry on top of a very cruddy teaching day.
