Jose and I were hanging out and relaxing last night as we watched the American Idol results show. I decided to call and talk to my Dad for a minute and asked Jose to pass me my cell phone. He reached over and somehow my phone slipped from his hands as he was passing it to me. The worst part was that it landed in a HUGE glass of water that was tucked between the furniture where he was sitting and a little table where the phone was. Can you picture what I mean? Anyway.... it was like a HUGE "thirst buster" type glass and my phone sank to the bottom. He pulled it out and TaDa....my phone still works. It acted a little funny last night....then I used the blow dryer on it....and it is almost all better. The camera lens and the main display is foggy from the water inside...but I enjoy watching the vapor getting smaller by the minute. Ha....what luck!

Oh for me it was the toilet the other day. I'm so thankful that I had just cleaned it and I hadn't peed yet, but I keep it in my back pocket and the pocket was iddy biddy that day and you guessed it, as I bent over, it flopped out and plopped right in! It too, was ok the next morning, but I still had to sanitize it before I held it up to my ear!
do you remember when mine got milk spilt on it? ya- you were the one that pointed out to me that it was "milk" inside the display screen. Nice!
i've since then retired that old phone for a new one which was given to me for my anniversary, but was already promised to me 2 months before that as a "just because you need a new one" and to top it off, he got it for FREE, AND for HIMSELF!
talk about pawnage to the 100th power! you know what i mean.
