Cut those aprong strings.....

Here is another little project that we have been working on this last couple of weeks. Most of the fabric is either left over scraps from the quilts that we made a few weeks ago or fabric that I bought off of the $1 a yard table at Walmart.....I think we did pretty good!

I LOVE this fabric and it only cost me .75 cents for a yard! That was the only piece that they had left....I wish I had a bunch more of it!Little "Bowl of Cherries" apron with Big Cherry pockets..........This is scrap watermelon fabric from a quilt I made a few weeks ago....Very summery!
My mom made this Big Cherry apron with the little cherry pockets....this fabric is from JoAnn's and it was $8.99 a yard but we scored the 40% of coupons....nice!
This is another cheap scrap piece that I found a Walmart.....I think it cost me a WHOLE $1 a yard!Same here......$1 a yard....I bought this fabric to make an apron for my mom....she really liked it.
This is some 70's flower child kind of fabric that my mom got to make aprons as b-day gifts for my nieces (shh...if any family members are reading this.....don't tell the little granddaughters).
So....there you have it! We could have probably made some even cuter ones if we wanted to spend more $ on the fabric....but these are pretty good for just getting started! I still have some other material but haven't gotten around to making those. It will probably have to wait for another time.

if my husband wasn't such a cheapskate, he might give me a dollar to get some material and come over to your moms pad to sew one!!
