Pefecting the Saints

I went to "the valley" a few weeks ago and attended church with my brother, Michael, and his family. A member of their Stake Presidency spoke and proposed a plan on how their Stake can reach their goal of "Becoming a Zion Stake." They are supposed to focus on different gospel areas and become perfect in them each month.

August 2008: 100% Meeting Attendance
September 2008: Daily Family and Personal Prayer
October 2008: Hold Weekly Family Home Evening
November 2008: 100% Home and Visiting Teaching
December 2008: Increase Fast Offering Donations
January 2009: Daily Scripture Study
February 2009: Feel the Spirit in Sacrament Meeting
March 2009: Attend the Temple
April 2009: Have a Missionary Experience

Then they asked that each family send a letter or an email to the Stake Presidency each month reporting on their progress. What a challenge and invitation! I thought I would pass this on in case any of you would like to do your own goal plan.....I know that I could sure work on a few of these things!
