I went to a birthday lunch/party at a restaurant here in Flushing the other day. One of my students/neighbors turned 9 and it was quite the celebration. Then we all headed over to Flushing Meadows Park to ice skate at the "World of Ice" Rink. I knew most of the 26 kids that were invited and so it was a fun afternoon hanging out with all of them (and their mom's too).
Somehow....the boys never made the pictures. They were always out playing "Kung-Fu Ninja" on the ice. Oh well, maybe next time!
