I was blog "surfing" the other day and I ran onto these fun craft pictures. Aren't these magnets cute? They are similar to the magnets that I made a couple of years ago.
However, the true "GEM" of finding this blog were these potholders. I JUST had a conversation with my mom last week about old jeans. I asked her what to do with them. Make a quilt? Throw them away? I told her that I thought it was a complete waste of good fabric to toss old jeans. Well, here is a GOOD idea. Make potholders! Place a sheet of silicone or rubber in the middle, sew up the sides, put on a cute trim, and you have an extremely DURABLE potholder.....
Oh....here are the magnets that I made a couple years ago. I keep meaning to make more for gifts and I haven't gotten around to it. Hmmm.....

I still have some of the fun magnets on my frig that we made a year ago and now I want to make some of these new ideas too! I luv my pot holders that the Sister in Costa Rica gave me last Summer. With the rubber inside.....you can not burn your hands! Let's get crafty at Easter time....K?
