The closest thing to a "real" diner that I had ever seen growing up in the West was Denny's. I soon learned, after moving to NY, that diners on the East Coast are a whole different ballgame. I have been to countless of them now and Kane's Diner, in Flushing, has got to have the funkiest menu that I have EVER seen! 
It is completely random and is a collage of magazine clippings, quotes, and pictures of the "stars." The pictures of the food appear to have come from magazines and other menus from other restaurants. They definitely are not pictures of the food that they serve. Take a look at my pictures and you'll get an idea of what it is all about. Very fun but very, very random!
Do you see what I mean? There are just random faces and sayings plastered all over the food. So funny!
The cover cracks me up! You can see where they wrote "The World's Sexiest Menu" but they had to cross out the word sexiest.
