Lots and lots of red raspberries but the blackberries just weren't quite ready. I picked a few buckets of raspberries to take home for snacking and baking and then I walked around checking out the plants as I soaked up some Long Island sun and fresh air. 
My berry picking strategy went something like this. One for the bucket, one for my mouth. One for the bucket, two for my mouth, etc. I had red finger tips by the end of it all....delicious and fresh!
The blackberries had lots of blossoms and berries but they were FAR from ready. I did see a few dark ones but they were super bitter and sour....
The raspberries were SUPER ready though....yum!
