It is no surprise how industrial and urban the city feels most of the year....then all of a sudden, something happens to soften everything. During the Spring and Summer months....vines, flowers, and plants seem to overtake the place as they bask in the sun and humid air. This month, I have enjoyed watching this grape vine inch its way across the wall outside my kitchen window.

You lucky girl! I love those Thompson grapes. Remember when you were little and we use to pick them in Queen Creek and make great raisins with them? Now you have them soooooooo handy!
