The Queen of Queens has arrived....

I am back home in NY now. It was kind of a long day yesterday after being delayed in Phoenix for an hour or so. We finally got off of the ground and landed in NY at about 6:00 pm est. It is good to be back. I was really sad to leave my family and I have to admit that I shed a few tears. I am not sure how much time I will get to spend with my parents before they go on their mission and so I was sad but also anxious to rev up my engine and get back to "life." It was fun to walk out of the airport and get hit with a blast of 17 degree air that chilled my bones and my taxi driver and I talked about Indian food all the way home. I gazed into the city lights that surrounded me as we drove through Queens to my neighborhood and I KNEW I was home when I could see Karate classes going on through the store front windows and people fighting over bins of bean sprouts and bok choy at the markets. Welcome to China town! I went to the library a few minutes ago to get some movies and it was 21 degrees and snowing. I had to beat the memories of CR out of my mind and realize that it is time to let REALITY set back in. Brrrr!
