4th of July Cupcakes...

Just like most Americans, I too had a few BBQ's and parties to attend this past weekend. I decided to make some cupcakes to take. I decorated them and got them all stored away in my new "cupcake tote" and was ready to go. I put some cupcakes in a box though since my tote wasn't big enough. My plan was to refill the tote after the first party. This tote is cool because the middle (red part) comes can set it up like a cupcake tree for display. Super fun!It was HOT! The cupcakes TOTALLY melted in the car and they looked like I had covered them with fondant.....oops! Then I heard a "SPLAT!" noise in the back and saw that the box of cupcakes had completely dumped out. ARGH!The bad part was that I had already let one of my phonics teaching kits spill there and then the frosting and cupcakes dumped right on top. Major cleanup and waste of time. Ugh!
