Niagra Falls....

What do you do when you have a 4 day weekend? You wake up and say, "Where should I travel to today?" Then within an hour, you have your gas tank full, your bags packed, and you are on the road. I have been to Niagra Falls and Buffalo, NY two times before. I have never walked down to the falls at night to see the colored lights on them though. It was a steamy night but worth the adventure. Plus, it was nice to walk around after a LONG drive from NYC.I also walked down to the falls the next morning. What I didn't know was that there would be NO sun the entire day. It rained SOOOOO hard that I was completely soaked.....completely! I had slick streams of hair gel/mousse running down my neck because my hair was dripping wet. I even had mascara lines down my cheeks. Yes...it was amazing! For this reason, I have opted to not show my clown pictures....ha! People were on the Maid of the Mist despite the crazy down pours of rain. All of the "walkers" at falls overlook point turned into "runners" and scattered when it poured. Kind of funny to watch!
