Birthday Dinner....

I celebrated my birthday this week. It was kind of an odd day (my computer was attacked by a virus in the morning and I spent the day fixing it) but the evening was wonderful. I got to spend it with my lifelong friend/sister, Sarah. This was my view as I rode into the city to meet her for dinner. It was still pretty hazy as the sun went down because it was an extremely humid day. This is what I saw when I came out of the ground from the subway (7th Ave and 23rd Street). I love the city on summer nights....We met up at a place that Sarah and her husband frequent called Francisco's Centro Vasco. We had a wonderful time and the food was amazing. We had lobster and crab legs, sooooo delish! After dinner, we walked over to Union Square to see what was going on. We listened to so guys preaching at a prayer station (they were getting bashed...I am not sure why they choose to preach in that environment. They are just asking to get torn apart) and then we happened to see a street show where some guys were fire twirling. Pretty impressive!I took the train to 34th and walked from Herald Square to Penn Station. It was a nice walk and I even saw a friend from work in the train station. We rode the LIRR home and visited all the way. It was a wonderful way to spend my birthday. Thanks for the thoughtful invite Sarah! Now get ready, you turn a year older next month and it will be your turn. Yay!

Hey, you don't look a day over 25! Glad you had such a great time with Sarah and your trip to Cape Cod & etc. I am jealous of the delish Lobster.....I haven't had any for soooo long. Especially where it is caught fresh.
