Mystic, Connecticut.....

I thought it would be fun to get away for my birthday weekend. So, I did! It was kind of a whirlwind trip but it was WELL worth it. We had three stops....Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Here are some pictures of the first place.....Mystic, Connecticut!Anyone remember the movie Mystic Pizza? I sure do! In fact, I watched it again not too long ago. It is a good "oldie." Well, the movie was filmed right in Mystic, CT and the storyline was based around this Mystic Pizza joint. Julia Roberts played the lead role and it was a fun flick. I went to Mystic Pizza and it was pretty tasty!I watched a couple that were fishing on the Mystic River pull this bike out of the water. It's pretty amazing what a little river water can do! I wonder if Shrek is in there too...ha!The Mystic River was beautiful! My pictures just cant even start to do it justice....Mystic River bridge.....
