Summer in the city brings many fun outdoor things to do. I recently saw that a theater group was performing Macbeth and Taming of the Shrew in outdoor venues all over the city.....for FREE. I decided to check out the locations and to my surprise....there was one showing of Taming of the Shrew on my block.I really need to take more pictures of this place....it is amazing! This Victorian home is at the end of my block. I have toured it before and the bird garden is beautiful. Well, the museum organization invited the theater group to perform for the public in their garden. I am so glad I read about it in the paper. It was fun to see such a neat story played out in that setting. It was even better because I had less than 150 to get home after it ended.
My battery died and so I only got a few shots. Most of them are a little blurry because I took them without my flash. Oh well....

I LOVE that Victorian house too! I want a tour next time I am in Queens. Looks like the play is as good as they do at the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, UT. Nice you could go so close to your home.
