I mentioned in a previous post called Pancake Puffs that my sister-in-law had a great syrup recipe. Here it is.....it is YUMMY!
Buttermilk Syrup
1 C. sugar
3/4 C. buttermilk
1 cube butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Add sugar, buttermilk, and butter to a saucepan and boil for 2-3 minutes. It will look like it has thickened a little bit. Pull off the stove and add the vanilla and baking soda. Mix together well and serve. Can be stored and refrigerated for later.....stays good for about 2-3 weeks.

Beak....I am excited because I bought my own Pancake Puff pan at Target yesterday and we are going to try it out with my brothers family at their cabin this weekend. You should come over next week when I turn the big 51 and we'll make these for breakfast. (Subtract 20 years from the number I mentioned).
