Sewing, Sewing, Sewing

I love coming to Arizona because I get to use my mom's sewing machine and I try to take on a few projects while I am here. Last time I made a couple of baby quilts and burp clothes for two of my friends. You can click HERE to see what I made. Below are some of the fabrics that I have been playing with this trip.

My friend Sarah is having a boy in October and so I have been looking forward to making her a quilt. I was so excited that I bought the fabric last Tuesday night and had it made by Wednesday afternoon. Here are a couple hints as to what it looks like......I saw this Democrat fabric and couldn't pass it up! I saw this and thought to myself, "This is SOOOO Sarah!.....Her baby can't live without a Democrat baby bib!" TaaaaDaaaaa....And last but not least.....something for me! Here is a hint of my new project all for me, myself, and I.

Beak...get some material and come over. Did I tell you that my Mom and Dad want to buy me a sewing machine? That would be nice!

JL...Thanks. And yes...everyone needs a Democrat bib! Ha!
