I found this recipe a few years ago and I thought that it was an ADORABLE idea. Then my parents 40th wedding anniversary rolled around and I needed to make a dessert for the "kids" that went along with our Luau theme. This was perfect! The picture below is from Betty Crocker.
Here is my version....a little different than the recipe....but still cute!The cake passed the kid test.....they tore into it like a real watermelon!

super cute. mine didn't turn out as cute, but it was really tasty with the Kool=aid packet in it.
