Called to Serve

Here is a picture of my 3 brothers and my Dad......it was taken a few weeks ago on a very special day. My brother Michael (in the suit) was called to be a Bishop. He called me to give me the news and I started to cry....I was so happy and proud to know that the Lord had such trust in my brother. My brother Royce has been serving as 1st Counselor in his Bishopric for 2 years and he has really enjoyed his time serving. I know that Michael will enjoy being able to serve the members of his ward too. I pray for him daily as he tries to get things going in his ward.....the challenge is that the ward was just created....he is starting it from scratch. I was talking to him the other day and I said, "So, how does it feel to be the only member in your ward with a calling right now?" I know that the Lord will guide him as he makes important decisions...after all.....as my mission president would say.... "It is all for HIS glory." Congrats Michael!
